Hornback Cemetery

Hornback Cemetery is one and one half miles South West of ElDara in section 20, Derry Township. It is one of the oldest in the county and was abandoned before 1939. It was named for James Hopeful Hornback, the first one to be buried there. His death was the first white death in the township on the 17th of March 1832.

All known burials are listed below for Hornback Cemetery. Entries have been compared to those found in Cemetery Book Volume VI and any discrepancies have been noted.
